WHAT A WEEK! Marcey and Pete were in Chicago for the 40th Anniversary of the Chicago Marathon. The Chicago Marathon has always held a special place in Marcey and Pete’s hearts. Not only is Chicago their hometown, but they’ve also both competed in the marathon. Pete ran his first Chicago Marathon in 1984, which used to be named America’s Marathon (see photo below). Pete ran the Chicago Marathon 3 times in the 1980s and Marcey has run it every year since 2001!
It has been a great excuse to go back and see family every year and to support their hometown! Chicago Marathon will always be one of their favorites (hence the amount of Chicago designs on our website 😊).
