The below picture is the last photo of our old shop. This was a really big move for us initially, we were so proud of it. It was our first step, producing everything ourselves with our first machine and moving the production out of our home. This little shop was so good to us and holds a lot of memories and big moments for the SportHooks team and always will.
While we are ecstatic about our new shop and the opportunity for growth, there was some serious nostalgia cleaning out that first shop. I even helped clean and move!
We have a lot of feels with this new warehouse, we are completely in love with it, it’s been a labor of love, our landlord is the best, we have plenty of room to grow and add to our amazing partnerships and our incredible, loyal customer base.
Follow me on a tour...we acquired some new machines that will speed up our production process and give us much more room to grow!
One of our favorite additions to the new shop is our official SportHooks (and Kaktos Rose) showroom and meeting area for all our wonderful clients. Please come visit us if you are ever in Waco; we love meeting our customers face to face and hearing their stories!
Another big change is additional office space! In our old facility, we had 4 desks that shared one room. We now have an office space that has 6 cubicles and our CEO, Marcey has her own private office. Plenty of room for my activities as well as additions to our team!
Now...this is our favorite part. This big beautiful warehouse is all ours. We built a fantastic cube to enclose all our machines (like the old shop pictured above) however we have some new machinery that will allow us to produce even faster!
My Dad and Pete each have their own offices now and I have a brand new comfy bed! I’ll make sure my Dad gets you all your custom drawings extra fast now 😉 . We also have a much larger stock area and packing/shipping area.
